Hilda Grocott (nee Field) emigrated to Australia to join her little brother (Merv) after the loss of her artist husband Jack Field in 1964.
Hilda hit it off with one of Merv’s work mates and local neighbor from Spencer Park Albany. They married and moved around Albany, settling in their own home in Collingwood Heights Albany.
Hilda passed away in 2015. Gordon found it difficult living alone and with failing health passed away in 2017.
